I had this gun a couple months and I like it. Pretty accurate after I adjusted the rear sight a bit for windage. The Walther manual tells you to turn the sight screw the wrong way. Also, some guys complain that the gun is a pain to put together after you field strip but there is a little trick. Put the included guide rod on the end of the spring so it will not flop around when you install the slide. When installed, the temporary guide rod falls out the front - again the Walther manual does not tell you this. Also, this gun likes high velocity ammo. I tried American Eagle but it does not cycle right. No problem with CCI Mini-mag, Stinger and Velocitor. Last, the grip feels better in a medium sized hand than most guns. A fun and reliable little plinker... with the right ammo.

I fired 300 rnd.s through the gun so far. No jams or missfires.I sighted the gun in & shot some nice groups.I think it would have shot better groups if the trigger pull was a little lighter.
I coulden''t be more pleased.

nice light weight fun gun to shoot. Easy to disassemble and clean. Has about one rnd per 20 missfeed. I''m not shooting special ammo, just off the shelf remington .22. It missfeeds much more often when my son shoots - the only thing I can figure is that his hands move just enough under recoil to absorb some of the energy required to chamber the next rnd. Probably would have no issues with high power ammunition. I''m impressed by the accuracy of the 3" barrel! Shoots about a 2" group at 15 yards. Bottom line it''s blast to shoot, but I wouldn''t count on it for protection.

My fiance wanted to go to the range with me and all I own are 9 mils and 45''s except my walther tph, but that''s even a little jumpy ]for a beginner[ since it''s such a short barrel. Sticking with the walther name, I jumped on this, plus if she didn''t like it at least I would have something with a picatinny rail to tinker with. Anyway, she loves it and actually so do I. I didn''t have to adjust the sights. Right out of the box, shot where it was aimed. I knew about the ammo pickiness beforehand so when my cheap .22 ammo was failing every round, I wasn''t disappointed. CCI mini mags are the best. Not 1 failure in about 1000 rounds. I couldn''t use stingers because of the hollow points. I knew about that too but I tried them anyway. But CCI mini mags are $10 for 100 at my walmart so it doesn''t break the bank anyway. All in all, great gun for plinking, reliable with the right ammo. I''ll hold on to this until my kids are old enough to start.
