I too had problems with the pistol not ejecting properly. I was also firing the cheap Federal ammo from Wally World. I went to Remington Thunder Bolt high volicty ammo. It was still inexpensive at $1.63 a box. The pistol has been flawless since and a real joy to fire. Joe is right, the pistol is picky about ammo. I tried 4-5 differents brands untill I setteled on one that works. Sig reccomends CCI ammo and it does work well with it, but expensieve.

I like the feel and appearance of this little SIG, but function is a big disappointment,,,,trigger could be better too. My fix for the jamming was to install the heavy recoil spring and switch to hivel Winchester ammo (1330 fps) and CCI Stingers (1640 fps). Firing becomes a bit hotter and torques the gun a tad but I like that..Overall this little pistol is no target piece, but would serve as a good warm up gun before firing a larger cal. pistol with a similar feel.

This little 22 is very comfortable to handle. As a woman, it has very little kick, is easy to break down, clean, and in general to handle. 22 loads are fairly cheap, so you can get a lot of practice in. First couple of times I had a little problem with the sights, but figured it out, good accuracy for a small arm.
