Since they first started manufacturing firearms in 1995, Kel Tec has grown to become one of the top five handgun makers in the U.S and with the creation of their PMR-30, Kel Tec has taken their game to the next level. One of the first of its kind, the PMR-30 is a full size, light weight pistol which chambers the .22 Magnum (WMR) cartridge. Featuring a double stack magazine, the PMR-30 is able to hold an unprecedented 30 rounds, while still maintaining a comfortable grip. Operating on a hybrid blowback/locked breech system, which was designed specifically for this pistol by Kel Tec, the PMR-30 Pistol allows for a wide variety of ammunition to be fired through it, as it effortlessly adjusts between locked breach and blowback operation, depending on the pressure of the cartridge.
The grip, mag release, slide cover, safety levers and trigger of the Kel Tec PMR-30 Pistol are made from glass reinforced Nylon (Zytel), which makes the PMR-30 one of the most durable pistols on the market. Other features of the PMR-30 include a Picatinny accessory rail under the barrel, dual opposing extractors, heel magazine release, single action trigger with an over-travel stop, an ambidextrous safety lever and dovetailed aluminum front sight.
